A Unique Summer Learning Game Plan

In an upcoming  webinar on February 27 at 2:00pm EST, NSLA, along with the  Rutgers Future Scholars Program, will release a collaborative publication, the  "Game Plan."

This webinar will provide youth-serving organizations with resources, best practices and recommended steps to assist in developing an effective and impactful college access program for the nation's most under-served youth.

Youth-serving organizations are encouraged to join this webinar. 


Call for Workshop Proposals



The Call for Workshop Proposals is now open for Summer Changes Everything™ -- the national conference on summer learning and afterschool in Kansas City, Missouri, November 12-14, 2018.

NSLA is especially interested in proposals that fall into one of the following conference program strands:
  • Program Planning
  • Effective Learning Approaches
  • Community System-Building
  • Policy & Advocacy
The deadline for proposal submissions is March 8, 2018 Presenters are offered a reduced conference registration fee.


NSLA Appoints Four New Board of Directors
