As students go back to school this fall, many of them will return having lost much of what they learned the previous school year.
It’s known as “summer slide” and has a heavy impact particularly on kids from lower-income families.
July 12 is National Summer Learning Day, and activities all over the Lehigh Valley were planned to help bridge the learning gap.
