Leading up to National Summer Learning Week, we want to hear what inspires you! All you need to do is take a picture or video of your friends, children, students, colleagues, or even yourself learning about a subject you enjoy with the hashtags, #SmarterSummers and #SummerLearningWeek.
Does your child have a passion for soccer? Show us their skills during practice. Do your students love learning about the deep space? Show us their models of the solar system. Do you enjoy team-building activities? Take a selfie in an escape room. We want to see your participation starting NOW and continuing all the way through National Summer Learning Week, July 8-13, 2019. Let’s show our nation summer learning matters and that smarter summers create brighter futures!
Participate anywhere you post content: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, wherever! The National Summer Learning Association (NSLA) will share inspiring posts on Twitter and Facebook. Below in bold, is some sample language you can use for your post. Remember to dare others to take the challenge too!
Take the #SmarterSummers Challenge and share what inspires you to learn during the summer! Every summer, we use the longer days to hike at Shenandoah National Park and learn about the hundreds of birds that roam the area. #SummerLearningWeek is July 8-13!
Every time, the highlight of our summer program is the 3D printing class. Our kids love art and science! Take the challenge yourself! Use the hashtag #SmarterSummers and share what inspires you to learn during the summer! #SummerLearningWeek is July 8-13!
