Looking Ahead to 2025-2026: A New Approach to Summer Learning Support

During the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, NSLA will be pausing our traditional Summer Learning Summit in Washington, DC. Instead, we’re investing our resources in providing more training and support opportunities directly to our partners—closer to where they operate.

In the year ahead, we plan to:

  1. Enhance our Summer Planning Boot Camp and launch a new Post-Summer Reflection Program in September.
  2. Expand our in-person “Get Ready for Summer” Tour to reach more cities in the fall and spring.
  3. Grow our year-round, free-of-charge, Professional Learning Communities, open to all educators and program leaders.
  4. Offer larger and more intensive leadership development opportunities for our partners.
  5. Host more in-person training sessions within conferences and events already planned by our partners, where summer learning leaders are gathering.

Thank you for your continued leadership, partnership, and commitment to kids.
